Shreya Singh Hernández (she, her) is a data-driven social impact strategist with a transdisciplinary career in responsible technology and data justice. In her role as the Senior Manager of Empowered Communities and the Responsible Data Practices Lead at Aspen Digital, a policy program of the Aspen Institute, Shreya leads efforts on convening tech experts, collaborating with civil society leaders and academicians, and creating systems of accountability through innovative data programs in the field of tech equity, product inclusion, DEI, and AI Fairness.

Shreya has established expertise in this work through her career from the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Native Hawaiians, Edelman Data X Intelligence, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Data, Analytics, and Research team, and now at the Aspen Institute. Through her career spanning data-driven federal policy, presidential to local political campaigns, and corporate strategy, Shreya demonstrates her passionate advocacy and innovative analytical approaches for using technology and data to create a more equitable and just world.

Shreya’s work has been featured through her speaking engagements including a product inclusion panel at SXSW 2024, presenting at Snap Inc.’s annual DEI summit with 10K+ global viewership, and presenting at Google’s inaugural product equity summit to name a few.
