Isabel Moctezuma Barbará

Regional Program Manager, Stevens Initiative

Isabel Moctezuma Barbará is the Regional Program Manager for Latin America at the Stevens Initiative. In this role, she is dedicated to fostering understanding and collaboration among young people through virtual exchange programs. She brings extensive professional experience from diverse sectors, including both public and private spheres. Her previous roles include serving in Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of Education, and at the Aspen Institute Mexico. She holds a B.A. degree in History from Mexico’s National Autonomous University and an MPhil Degree in Development Studies from the University of Oxford. She serves on the board of non-profit organizations and has strong interest in the potential of new technologies and socioeconomic development.
