— Today, the Aspen Institute Business & Society Program launches the third cohort of its Economic Mobility Fellowship, welcoming Fellows from major corporations committed to advancing the role of business in expanding economic mobility in America.
“These business leaders are pioneers of transformation within their organizations,” said Jaime Bettcher, Director of the Economic Mobility Fellowship. “Each of our Fellows recognize that economic opportunity is a foundational pillar for the long-term health of their business. We are thrilled to support the different innovative approaches their companies are taking to strengthen ladders of opportunity for their employees, customers, and communities.”
This year’s cohort will embark on a year-long Fellowship that will support each Fellow to scale and optimize an innovative project within their company that promotes economic stability and opportunity for low-income individuals and families in the United States. The Economic Mobility Fellowship offers participants a supportive network of collaborators as well as the skills development, frameworks, and coaching to lead change in large, complex, for-profit institutions. Made possible thanks to the generous support of the Ballmer Group, the Fellowship aims to contribute to a growing body of knowledge on how corporate practice can support greater economic mobility.
The 2025 Economic Mobility Fellows are:
- Courtney Alev: Senior Director, Product Management / Head of Tax at Credit Karma
- Allyson Eastman: Social Impact and Community Development Senior Manager at Google
