Join us for a very special Public Health Grand Rounds lunchtime session on the topic of gun violence in America. This discussion will unpack a public health approach to reducing the health harms of firearm injury. Speakers include former HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius; former Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist; Deputy Director of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, Greg Jackson; and Dean of the Yale School of Public Health, Dr. Megan Ranney. No issue is of greater concern to Americans — regardless of geography or political affiliation — and yet very little progress has been made in addressing what is now an epidemic. The tools of public health can help move the needle.
