This report was developed as a partnership between the Johns Hopkins International Arts + Mind Lab Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics and the Aspen Institute’s Health, Medicine & Society Program.
Neuroarts is the cross-disciplinary study of how the arts and aesthetic experiences measurably change the body, brain, and behavior and how this knowledge is translated into specific practices that advance health and wellbeing. On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 3:30-4:15 pm ET, please join us for an online preview and celebration of this transformative action plan. The program will include a stellar line-up of speakers including Renée Fleming, soprano and artistic advisor to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health as well as an opening performance by the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater.
