“Featuring a splendid introduction by Ellen Lupton, Bauhaus Typography at 100 is arguably the most complete Bauhaus resource I’ve seen, and I have been collecting related volumes for decades.” — Steven Heller, PRINT magazine

Rob Saunders, Curator of Bauhaus Typography at 100 (on view at the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies), is the Executive Director & Curator of Letterform Archive in San Francisco. He began his career as an educator at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Tufts University, venturing into freelance design work and agency collaborations. His entrepreneurial spirit led to establishing a distinguished book publishing venture, with imprints Alphabet Press, Picture Book Studio, and Rabbit Ears Books, which was later acquired by Simon & Schuster. Prior to founding Letterform Archive in 2015, he served as a creative and marketing consultant with clients in the hospitality, technology, and financial industries. The archive opened with his collection of graphic design built over 40 years, but thanks to the generosity of its community, the collection now has five times as many objects.Lorraine Wild, principal, Green Dragon Office Los Angeles, has specialized in book and catalog design for museums and educational institutions for over 30 years and has a unique understanding of the issues facing publishers of art, architecture and design books. Green Dragon Office brings this deep history of work and understanding to all of their publication projects. In 2006, Wild received the most prestigious award in the U.S. for graphic design: the Gold Medal of the AIGA. Green Dragon Office has also received numerous awards from the New York Art Director’s Club, American Center for Design, the American Institute of Architects, the AAM, and the American Association of University Publishers. Their award-winning books have been included in AIGA’s selective “50 Books/50 Covers” competition over 25 times. Recent projects include the design of books and exhibition catalogues for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Wild is on the faculty of the California Institute of the Arts: she also serves as Creative Consultant to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, She is a graduate of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and the Yale School of Art.Adam Thomas has been the Curator at the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies since May 2024.
